The Gvanim Association believes that provided with the right opportunities every individual can develop and reach his or her full potential. Our mission is to create a support network and offer the necessary tools to help achieve one’s full potential.
Our guiding principles are:
1. Innovation - Gvanim fosters innovation through its research and development, by building model programs, by matching entrepreneurs and volunteers, and by cultivating an atmosphere to encourage social change. We see ourselves as a social start-up.

Cooperation & Partnerships - Since our establishment in 1994, we have formed partnerships with the communities we serve, with our employees and volunteers, and with different projects, to ensure the success of our programs. We form partnerships with other organizations to pool our resources and ensure the maximum efficiency and effectiveness of each program.
3. Connection to the Community - Gvanim was founded upon the concept of integration and grassroots participation from the surrounding community. We believe that connecting individuals to a larger community creates understanding, builds mutual support, and encourages both self-empowerment and community empowerment. To ensure this process, we take a holistic approach to our work and goals.
4. Leadership Development - Gvanim aims to cultivate leadership groups within the communities it serves. These leaders, in turn, promote their community’s goals through their involvement and contributions to society at large.

Gvanim ensures that each program has a professional and committed staff, a strong project plan and a well-kept budget based on long-term goals.
