Gvanim Association’s mission is to provide every individual and family the appropriate support network and the opportunities they need to develop and reach their full potential

1.       Innovation through research and development, building model programs, matching entrepreneurs and volunteers with social initiatives and fostering an atmosphere for social change – Gvanim Association sees itself as a social start-up.

2.       Cooperation and Partnerships: Throughout our many years of activity, as one of our keystones to success, we form partnerships with the communities we serve, with our employees and volunteers, between different projects, for the empowerment of all.  We form partnerships with other organizations to ensure resources will be allocated without waste.  Our insistence on partnership and cooperation has proved to be our most effective tool no matter what challenges we are facing.

3.       Connect to the Community: Gvanim takes action with and from within the community.  We believe that connecting the individual into the community provides mutual support, understanding and empowerment to everyone involved.  To ensure this process, we take a holistic approach to our work and goals.

4.       Stability and Sustainability:  Gvanim Association takes responsibility for its projects from the very first stages of development and follows through until they are established programs.  Gvanim ensures that each project and program will have a professional and committed staff, a strong project plan and a well-kept budget based on long-term goals.  Gvanim also invests in appropriate infrastructure when required.

5.       A learning organization:  Gvanim strives for continual improvement and uses methods of self-examination, audit and learning to ensure that as an organization we stay on track while striving to meet our goals.
